Rubber instead of neoprene?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Rubber instead of neoprene?

Post by hugo_inside »

I still haven't found neoprene in my country, where do can I buy it? Is rubber a valid material for floor first ply?

Greetings

What country do you live in?

What exactly do you want the elastomer for?

There quite a few elastomer products such as Sylomer, EPDM, EAR products, etc Im sure one of them must be available unless you live in Antartica :)

As Spain has some manufacturing, there's sure to be a demand for vibration isolation for heavy rotating machinary.
I'll go on looking for it...
