Hi Guys,
First time here, been checking out different areas of the site for the past few days - very impressive!!
Looking into preliminary ideas for a studio I'll be building in a few months. Control room will be used for mixing/editing standard music CD productions, as well as sound effects, vocal & video editing and eventually 5.1 for DVD productions.
Being that we will be investing in many areas regarding this endeavour, my budget at this point will allow for a set of 5 JBL LSR6328P monitors. Would appreciate feedback from anyone that knows of these (about a grand a piece). BTW I will not be soffit-mounting the control-room speakers...front 3 on stands and rears perhaps bracket mounted to side walls. Thanks all!
JBL LSR6328P's for stereo & 5.1?

Greetings Icedrum and welcome to the site.
I use the the first version that came out (LSR28's & 12P). I've been considering the cross-grade to the 6300 series. Great sounding monitors. And the 6300 series has the built in parametric eq to tune them to the room or (RMC).
Do a search on LSR28 and you'll find some additional info.
