As some of you may know I am going to start construction of my very small (but it's all mine!) studio in about 6 weeks.
I have read up on bass traps, slot resonators, Hermolatz caluclators etc but really don't know where to put them and how many I need. and then there's that studio foam that looks so nice but probally does nothing!!
Any guidence for my small live room would be great.
I was kinda thinking a relativly dead small end (1.8m) for vocals and a more live larger end (2.7m) for drums.
Is this possible, I know it's no Ocean Way - but it's all Ive got to work with
How about the floor?
How about the ceiling?
Help would be appreciated.
The room, as attached will have insulation facing outwards from the walls (inside out) , particle board flooring and gypsm ceiling.
Height will be 2.2m (7.2ft)
Thanks one million

Treating this room - where do I start?

Youve already got an angle. half the battle. Now you need to decide whether to angle the north or south wall and then I'd place insulation on your east wall and then the opposing north or south wall that you dont angle
Keep the floor reflective (wood, no carpoet and place insul/absorption on your ceiling.)
