I am building my second studio with slat/inside out walls. I remember a post that I can't find that said the type of fabric makes a difference. In my last studio I used muslin over fiberglass with a thin plastic barrier. On this one I am using rockwell safe and sound with no plastic barrier just the cloth. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Bill

Re: Cloth for slat/inside out wall
the cloth should be porous enough for air flow but also tight enough to reduce chances for insulation fibers to leak out. examples include Guilford of Maine. between that type of cloth and slats, you should be fine as the slats provide the HF support and you can adjust the overall room response in the HF range by strategically placing the slats (back walls and sides and ceiling where needed) and where you leave cloth (like first reflection points)
