New soundstage design: ~20,000 sq ft

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

New soundstage design: ~20,000 sq ft

I'm looking for some consulting expertise in a concept design for a new sound stage that will be 100' x 200'. Contemplated is a ground-up new building. Anyone who can add an acoustic perspective to the design concept would be a great help.

That appears to be a large, probably commercial, project. I recommend that you consult with a Pro or a few. If you chose to hire one of us, I will say that it can be a zero sum experience. Avoiding inefficient materials or techniques can save a lot.
