Bittree patchbay

Post by rockfarmroad »

I was looking for a balanced patchbay for a few pieces of outboard gear - I need about 10 channels. There are none of the plug n play ones in stock and they're quite expensive. I picked up a Bittree long frame 1/4" cheaply and now I find that the patch cords are $30 and the ED3 (3 pin) connectors really hard to find and the solder pins (don't want to spend $400 on a tool) are as well. Should I abandon this entire idea and wait for stock of a Chinese TRS rack mount? It's a shame as I know the quality of the unit but I'm getting nowhere. Appreciate any opinions from your experience.

Welcome! Please completely fill out your profile.

I would get a common style patchbay.

It appears that you've made the mistake most people do. You started building without consulting this forum.
