Placement of baffle hvac

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Placement of baffle hvac

Post by Carlucci »

Hi guys
I have a question about placement of hvac baffle boxes
Option 1
I already have vent mounted in the front of my studio next to the door
I’ll build a baffle box for this. This going to be plugged into my portable air conditioner(Blyss WAP-12EA26 9000 Btu ), so this going to be to take the air out the room
Can I place another baffle box on the same wall in the front of the studio or needs to be on the opposite site? This one is going to be a baffle box with vent to push the fresh air into the studio

Ideally you want inlet and outlet to be opposite one another as far away as possible. This isn't always possible. So, just do the best that you can.

It appears that you've made the mistake most people do. You started building without consulting this forum.
