How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Due to the ease of use and also that Stuart is the main person assisting me with the build I’ve been posting all my progress on the new forum:
Just to clarify, Stuart's forum is not John Sayer's "new forum". THIS forum is John's and will remain here running like usual.
