MY NEW STUDIO CONSTRUCTION

Post by aparolin »

Hi everybody.
Here is my new studio project. The room size is: 5.20 x 3.30 mt , heigth 3.20mt. The wall is an old tuff brick.
The insulation : Rockwool 225 /7cm (75kg/m)
I'd like build in the wall where you see the wood diffuser some hanger for sub sonic frequencies.
it's a good idea?
Thanks a lot

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things! :)
I'd like build in the wall where you see the wood diffuser
The room is too small to be able to use a tuned diffuser.
some hanger for sub sonic frequencies.
since "sub-sonic" frequencies are not audible, there's no need to treat them! Also, there are not many speakers that can even produce sub-sonic frequencies!!! Those that can are very, very large, and require a lot of power: I doubt you'd be able to use one in that small room. Not to mention the big question: Why would you even want a sub-sonic speaker in your room?

Sorry Stuart, I edit my profile!
Not sub sonic I mean sub bass frequencies...sorry again.
I'll build 4 superchunk in the corner, but I need help to build a basstrap in the open space where you can see diffusers. So you said it's better some hanger or Absober panels?
What do you think about my design?
Thanks!
