Hi guys!
Im very close to buying all the materials needed to start this build, and before I pull the trigger Id like to confirm that this product will do something useful in the cavity of my MSM design?

Previously I had used rockwool, but I remember reading that less dense, fluffier material is better in the wall cavity - Is this correct?
If so, the price difference between this and an 'acoustic roll' is significant.

thanks in advance. I really dont want to mess this build up!

For mineral wool, you want something in the region of 50 kg/m3. But if you are using fiberglass (not mineral wool), then it should be in the range of about 30 kg/m3. Heavier is better for absorbing higher frequencies, lighter is better for lower frequencies. The above are optimal for cavity insulation, not necessarily for other things.I remember reading that less dense, fluffier material is better in the wall cavity - Is this correct?
